The average daily number of people in the U.S. receiving their first dose of a coronavirus vaccination exceeded 400,000 this month, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
An average of 860,114 doses has been administered each day throughout the month, CNN reported, citing CDC data.
Though the average daily number of new vaccinations is down 5% from last week, the average daily number of doses administered is up about 13%, CNN reported.
As of Wednesday, 51.6% of the total U.S. population is fully vaccinated, according to CDC data.
