The Inova Health System, in partnership with the city of Alexandria and Fairfax County in Virginia, plans to open a mass coronavirus vaccination facility by the end of the month.

The Inova Stonebridge Vaccination Center on Eisenhower Avenue will have the capacity to vaccinate between 6,000 and 12,000 people a day, Inova officials said at a news conference Tuesday, WTTG-TV (Channel 5) reported.

Inova officials said 200,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered since the opening of its first clinic in December and that the new facility will have enough room to store up to 400,000 vaccine doses.

As of Wednesday, Alexandria has administered more than 36,000 doses of vaccine, with roughly 10% of the city’s population fully vaccinated, according to state health department statistics.
