(New York Daily News) – Breakup songs can be both cathartic and heartless.

Safaree’s Auto-Tune ode to ex Nicki Minaj landed like a hand grenade Wednesday.

Safaree Samuels’ single “Love The Most” was released on iTunes and dissected the music couple’s 12-year relationship, which ended last year in heartbreak.

“You ain’t do it all alone. We took ourselves up out the hood,” Safaree sings. “Yeah, we made it on the rise. Ain’t no green in my eyes. ‘Cause we both went to sleep in the same bed of lies.”
