Omarosa Manigault delayed her marriage to Democratic pastor John Allen Newman after receiving death threats stemming from her alignment with the Trump administration.
Manigault, who serves as President Donald Trump’s liaison to the Black community, postponed her March 25 wedding which would have taken place at Newman’s church, The Sanctuary at Calvary, in Jacksonville, Florida.
“She is really concerned about her safety,” a source close to Manigault told The Daily Mail. “There have been calls, emails and social media messages from people threatening to do harm to her and she feared that she wouldn’t be protected adequately at his church in Jacksonville. So, she pushed the date back and made the change.”
Manigault has moved her wedding to a venue in D.C., beefing up her guest list to include more high-profile guests such as President Trump. Guests will now also have to undergo background checks.
