Pepco’s Maryland residential customers will receive their second $50 rate credit as a result of the merger between Exelon and Pepco Holdings.

After receiving the first-rate credit in April 2016, Maryland customers to date, have received more than $52 million in credits.

“We constantly look for ways to best serve our customers and we are proud to be able deliver on our promises,” said Donna Cooper, Pepco region president. “We are committed to providing the best service for our customers. This credit, combined with the number of energy efficiency opportunities available to Maryland customers, can provide added savings for our customers.”

This final round of credits will be automatically applied to each residential customer’s bill as part of a broader package of benefits that will make energy more affordable for Pepco Maryland customers as a direct result of the merger.

The credits are applied to the bill balance and will be reflected on qualifying customer accounts.
