Pepco will use its gallery in Northwest Washington to support the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program on Nov. 20.
Company employees will act as Santa’s helpers as they sort, assemble and pack hundreds of toys for 100 local children. Santa may make an appearance.
The Angel Tree was created more than 40 years ago to ensure kids in need get to unwrap presents and have a joyous holiday season.
Pepco has been supporting the program since 2009 to support kids across the District and Montgomery and Prince George’s counties in Maryland who may otherwise miss out on receiving holiday gifts due to economic hardship.
