According to Quinnipiac University/New York Times/CBS News polls, President Obama is leading Mitt Romney in three key battleground states: Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida.
The poll, which was conducted from July 24-30, 2012, polled 1,177 likely voters in Florida, 1,193 in Ohio and 1,168 in Pennsylvania.
Currently, Obama holds a lead of over six percentage points in Florida and Ohio on Romney. He holds a much stronger 11 point lead in Pennsylvania. The poll has a plus/minus margin of error of about three points.
Surveys are also expected to be conducted in Wisconsin, Virginia and Colorado.
