The Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce will host its 2025 Excellence in Business Awards Gala on Oct. 3 at MGM National Harbor, bringing together business leaders, community champions and government officials for an evening of recognition and networking.

The sold-out event will honor businesses and leaders whose innovation and impact are shaping Prince George’s County’s future. The gala serves as the chamber’s premier annual celebration of entrepreneurship, leadership and economic growth.

Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actor Anthony Anderson, known for his starring role on the ABC sitcom “black-ish,” will emcee this year’s gala. The legendary go-go band Sirius Company will provide live entertainment.

“Our Excellence in Business Awards Gala is about more than recognition โ€” it’s about showcasing the resilience, creativity and power of Prince George’s County businesses,” said Alexander Austin, president and CEO of the chamber. “We are proud to celebrate the individuals and organizations who exemplify what it means to lead and thrive in today’s economy.”

The evening will feature a red carpet experience, a VIP reception starting at 5:30 p.m., dinner and awards at 7 p.m., and live entertainment at 10 p.m. Awards will be presented across multiple categories, including Business Leader of the Year, Small Business of the Year and Economic Transformation Team of the Year.
