Members of the Prince George’s County Association of Realtors volunteered April 26 for Christmas in April, a home repair and rehabilitation program serving Prince George’s County.

The group focused on restoring a Clinton home for two senior residents. Volunteers painted interior rooms, cleaned, replaced flooring and completed extensive yard work to improve the safety and comfort of the homeowners.

“Our members care deeply about the communities we serve, and Christmas in April is one of the many ways that Realtors give back,” said Shameeka Price, community service committee chair and agent with Capital Structures Real Estate. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see the impact a single day of service can have on the lives of our neighbors.”

Clinton Thompson of Interstate Moving & Storage provided breakfast for the volunteers, while Yolanda Burgess of Platinum Partners Realty sponsored lunch.

The association continues to support programs that preserve housing stability and build stronger communities in the county.
