(CBS Sports) — With Damian Lillard, John Wall, Derrick Rose and Andrew Wiggins on its roster, Adidas has some of the top guards in the NBA wearing and promoting its sneakers. Now according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the sneaker company is trying to woo James Harden away from Nike with a massive sponsorship contract.
Harden’s sponsorship deal with Nike just ended and Adidas is hoping that a 13-year, $200 million contract will convince the Houston Rockets guard to be their marquee star.

The company has submitted a bid of $200 million over 13 years to sign Houston Rockets guard James Harden, sources told ESPN.com. Nike, whose deal with Harden recently expired, has until the end of next week to match the deal or lose him.
