Monumental Sports & Entertainment announced Friday “The Reserve,” a preview center for the renovated arena in the District where prospective business partners and VIP guests can experience the luxury offerings, technological innovations and design elements of the future home of the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and various events.
“The Reserve,” presented by Clark Construction Group, which is overseeing the Capital One Arena overhaul, will open in May 2025 on the third floor of the current arena in downtown D.C. The appointment-only space will showcase premium and season ticket options for the renovated venue.
Visitors can select seats from various new seating experiences and view attractions including a hologram experience featuring Capitals and Wizards players and a full-scale model of a Vault Suite, a luxury offering coming to Capital One Arena this fall.
The preview center will display multiple scale models of the renovated arena and its surroundings, interactive screens highlighting key features, and rooms modeled after transformed spaces including the United Globe Club and United Globe Lounge.
“We could not be more excited to introduce ‘The Reserve,’ an extraordinary interactive experience that will bring the premium experience at the new arena to life,” said Jim Van Stone, president of business operations and chief commercial officer at MSE.
Wizards and Capitals season ticket members and suite holders will receive priority invitation emails to book appointments. They can also contact their account executives to schedule tours.
The announcement coincides with the start of construction on the Capital One Arena renovation. MSE says it’s taking a comprehensive approach to creating a technologically advanced venue that will serve millions of visitors annually for the next 25 years.
