Samuel L. Jackson is in talks to star in the title role of the upcoming film “The Black Phantom,” according to Deadline.
Jackson, who replaces Jamie Foxx, will star alongside comedian Kevin Hart. This is the first time Jackson and Hart have been in a film together.
Tim Story is directing the script by Dave Lease & Megan Hinds, and Will Packer and Will Gluck will produce.
The film is about an unlikely partnership with a hit man (Hart) and the Black Phantom, the hit man hired to kill him.
