Grammy-winning singer Solange has pulled out of the upcoming Coachella Music and Arts Festival, citing “major production delays.”
Solange, who had gotten top billing for the festival, was scheduled to perform Saturday.
“Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year’s festival,” Coachella officials tweeted. “She sends her sincerest apologies and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future.”
Solange, an accomplished singer, songwriter and DJ, appeared last year at the festival, where she joined her older sister Beyoncé.
She released her new album, “When I Get Home,” last month.
A spokesperson for Solange declined further comment.
