โGood Morning Americaโ anchor Michael Strahan has reportedly come under fire at his job for refusing to cut short a vacation in Greece to join ABCโs Hurricane Harvey coverage.
Strahan, a Houston native, was โsomewhere on a yacht in Greeceโ when ABC executives asked him to return early to cover the tragedy that occurred in his hometown, but he declined, the New York Postโs Page Six reported.
Executives from the networkโs news division are โreally upset with him,โ a source told Page Six.
A representative for Strahan said ABC executives didnโt ask him to return from his vacation, and that he is headed to Houston and will help any way that he can when he returns to the air Tuesday.
