Why was it important for you to participate in the 2026 March on Washington?

“As a student at Howard University, I find it really important to get out here and support the movement. Historically, Alpha Phi Alpha has been a significant part of other civil rights movements, so we just want to continue to support.”

“I think it’s important to come out here because our generation needs to realize how important our voices are in any election. People focus on presidential elections, but in reality, all these elections add up to how we live our lives in this country and the policies that affect us.”
