Comedian Sylvia Traymore Morrison, who broke barriers as the first female impressionist of color, will perform at the Lincoln Theatre in Northwest Washington on Sept. 26 at 8 p.m.

The show โ€” titled “Sylvia Traymore Morrison, Live!” โ€” will celebrate Morrison’s decades-long career featuring impressions of celebrities including Muhammad Ali, Whoopi Goldberg and Wendy Williams. Morrison has built a reputation for her ability to impersonate voices from entertainment and politics.

“Lincoln Theatre is the perfect setting to celebrate Sylvia’s incredible achievements,” said Steven Bullock of It’s Time Entertainment. “She has broken barriers, made history, and continues to inspire generations of comedians.”

Morrison’s work has established her as an influential comedic artist who appeals across generational and cultural lines. The Lincoln Theatre performance will honor her impact on the comedy industry and her role as a pioneer for women of color in entertainment.
