Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. celebrated its 81st Founders Day on Saturday, honoring Elizabeth Ann Harrison Garner, the co-founder of the sorority, who founded it in 1943 with her sister Violet Temple Lewis, and went on to become involved in several organizations and serve on several task forces.
