Maryland House Approves Legislative Redistricting Plan

Maryland’s overwhelmingly Democratic House of Delegates on Thursday approved a new legislative map for the state’s 47 legislative districts.

Hogan Shoots Down Md. Redistricting Plan; Lawmakers Quickly Override Governor’s Veto

A Maryland Legislative Redistricting Advisory Commission recommended approval of this congressional map that extends the more conservative 1st Congressional District across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge into portions of Anne Arundel County with more Democratic neighborhoods.
