The halls of All Souls Church Unitarian Church on 16th Street NW were abuzz with housing activists and tenants Saturday, May 7th, for the 9th Annual Tenant Town Hall. There were workshops on tenants rights, organizing a tenant association and housing advocacy in DC. People with legal issues with a landlord were given free legal advice from an attorney. Council Member Elissa Silverman spoke to the audience about legislation supporting affordable housing in the Council.
