Ben Crump, along with filmmakers Cameron S. Mitchell and Raji Ramanathan and director John Beder, won a regional Emmy for producing the short documentary “How to Sue the Klan”, which tells the story of five Black women in Chattanooga who used the 1871 Ku Klux Klan Act to successfully sue the Ku Klux Klan in 1982.
