How many of you out there are afraid to try? Have you given yourself permission to succeed? Are you afraid you will reach your goal, but you don’t want all of the problems that go with it? You would rather stay on the ground level, hoping and wishing, gambling at casinos, but never venturing out like eagles who fly high?
Don’t be afraid of change, it is inevitable. An example of change, is when a woman wants to be pregnant, but she doesn’t want to gain weight — that’s nonsense.
As we watch the news these days, it is obvious that our world is spinning in a new direction. Legislations are being passed, much of which we never hear about.
There is a definite guarantee in life that things are sure to change. It is something we tend to fear because it gives us a feeling that we are out-of-control. Change will surely upset the lives of control freaks!
Good news! God has a plan for our lives, it is hope. If we trust in God and watch as the change grows us to a point in our lives, where we become more like Jesus Christ in how we respond and act, then we are promised in scripture, Romans 8:28, that all things will work together for good for those who love Him and keep His commandments!
1st Corinthians 15:51 says ,”Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.” So even after death, you will be changed!
A well-known preacher, Charles Stanley once said this: “Oftentimes God demonstrates His faithfulness in adversity by providing for us what we need to survive. He does not change our painful circumstances. He sustains us through them.”
Though you’ve heard this saying many times before, this time it’s coming from me: Get Ready for BIG Changes in the New Year! What plans do YOU have for 2018? Get ready to set some goals that will lead to major changes. Begin by taking a close look at your closest friends. If most or all of your friends are poorer than you are, you need some new friends. Upgrade your relationships. This is not placing a price tag on friendship, but birds of a feather flock together!
When you surround yourself with people who are setting and reaching goals, it will have a major impact on you. Friends who are going places and doing things will cause you to take a good look at yourself. You will watch what they’re doing, which will influence you to look carefully at yourself.
When you run around with nine broke people, you will become number 10! It is biblical, my friend. Judas betrayed Jesus.
Look for friends who are reading inspirational messages, not obituaries. Get rid of the leaches in your life, those folks who are clinging to your dress tail, or your pant legs for men. Find those persons who have worked hard to find their way, then begin to create your own path; our Heavenly Father will send His angels to help you out, every step of the way, even when you are going through those tough time. Trust me, those times are for our own good.
You are an eagle, you fly higher than the other birds. Chickens are not even in the same category. They cannot touch you, so keep soaring. When someone is trying to hold you back, they may only be a chicken. Eagles are not jealous of you; they only want to help you. Eagles can fly higher; they never have the fear of failure.
