Roughly 75% of D.C. government employees say they have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, days before a deadline mandating vaccination.

The D.C. health department said 89% of government workers have submitted their vaccination status and about 300 have applied for a medical or religious exemption, WTOP reported.

Thursday is the deadline for government employees to disclose their vaccination status, with those who donโ€™t comply risking their licenses and jobs.

As of Friday, approximately 60% of the D.C. population has been fully vaccinated, according to health department data.
