Roughly 75% of D.C. government employees say they have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, days before a deadline mandating vaccination.
The D.C. health department said 89% of government workers have submitted their vaccination status and about 300 have applied for a medical or religious exemption, WTOP reported.
Thursday is the deadline for government employees to disclose their vaccination status, with those who don’t comply risking their licenses and jobs.
As of Friday, approximately 60% of the D.C. population has been fully vaccinated, according to health department data.
