(Clarion-Ledger) – A multipurpose sports complex is coming to Jackson.

Tougaloo College and P360 Mississippi CrossFit recently entered into a partnership that will turn 180 acres into a convertible space for football, baseball and soccer.

The acreage, located on Richmond Grove Road in Jackson, is owned by Tougaloo College. P360 signed a 25-year lease, according to Tougaloo President Beverly Hogan. Hogan would not discuss the specifics of the lease agreement.

Dirt work began last month, and the project should be completed by spring 2016, Hogan said.

P360 director Chris Snopek said the partnership was a much-needed opportunity for growth.
