President Donald Trump said Wednesday his administration is suspending all foreclosures and evictions until the end of April to help those affected by the coronavirus.

Trump also said the Defense Production Act, enacted in 1950, allows him to do “a lot of good things, if we need it.”

At Wednesday’s press briefing, Trump called the novel coronavirus the “enemy,” referring to it as “the Chinese virus.” The novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, was first identified in Wuhan, China.

However, when asked about his use of the phrase, he said it’s “not racist at all.”
