Virginia saw more than 1,000 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, according to the state health department.

The department recorded 1,145 new cases, including 269 in Northern Virginia, InsideNova reported.

Virginia has more than 94,000 confirmed cases as of Tuesday, including 2,244 deaths, according to the state dashboard.
