Virginia is reportedly having issues keeping track of coronavirus vaccinations by race and ethnicity on vaccinations.
Though the state is one of only 17 that publishes vaccination data by race and ethnicity as of last week, Virginia’s coronavirus website shows such data hasn’t been reported for more than half of the approximately 458,000 people who have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine, The Associated Press reported.
Researchers say that equitable vaccine distribution will be tough to achieve without the data, AP reported.
As of Monday, Virginia has administered roughly 523,000 doses of the 1.1. million distributed throughout the state so far, according to health department statistics.
