Virginia on Tuesday reported small increases in its coronavirus metrics.

The state recorded 378 new cases since Monday, bringing its total since the outset of the pandemic to 670,834, NBC affiliate WVIR reported, citing state health department data.

Virginia also reported 13 related deaths Tuesday, putting the toll at 11,042, according to WVIR.

Current coronavirus-related hospitalizations rose by 48 Tuesday to 29,290.

The slight increases in the metrics come after Gov. Ralph Northam declared Virginians who are fully vaccinated will be able to ditch masks indoors and outdoors, except for while using public transportation and at places like hospitals, health centers, schools and airports.

Businesses also have the right to require mask-wearing at their establishments.
