The Washington Commanders will debut new Super Bowl Era uniforms on Nov. 2 when they host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football, marking the 93rd anniversary of the franchise.

The uniforms honor some of the greatest teams in the franchise’s history from an era that saw the team win three Super Bowls and four NFC Championships under coach Joe Gibbs. The Commanders will also wear the uniforms during their Nov. 30 home game against the Denver Broncos and on Christmas Day when they host the Dallas Cowboys on Netflix.

“We are excited to celebrate Washington’s incredible history with these iconic, Super Bowl Era uniforms this season,” said Commanders President Mark Clouse. “Ever since Josh Harris and our ownership group acquired the team back in 2023, they’ve placed great value in finding ways to connect the past and present and honor those that made the burgundy and gold what it is today.”

Clouse said the uniforms recognize the most successful era of the franchise and reflect a culture of excellence that encompasses many historical moments and special memories among the fanbase.

The uniform design draws inspiration from an era that featured many iconic legends and has been designed to pay tribute to the club’s storied past while appealing to a new generation of fans.

Cut for modern performance standards, the Super Bowl Era uniform mimics the one worn for all three Super Bowl wins during the 1980s and 1990s. The white jerseys feature burgundy numbers outlined in gold on the front, back and shoulder pads, along with burgundy letters outlined in gold on nameplates and burgundy-and-gold sleeve stripes.

Burgundy pants include white and gold stripes, while white socks feature burgundy and gold striping. The helmets showcase the iconic gold face mask and striping pattern worn for all three Super Bowl wins, updated with the current team logo.

Officially licensed Super Bowl Era jerseys will be available for purchase in early September. Fanatics will launch a “notify me” feature Wednesday, allowing fans to sign up for notifications when jerseys become available to order.

Fans can visit Store.Commanders.com, Fanatics.com and NFLShop.com to purchase Super Bowl Era helmets and other exclusive merchandise, which will be released on a rolling basis. Additional merchandise drops and activations around the uniform return will be announced throughout the season.
