Watch: Kendrick Lamar, TDE Cypher at 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards

Kendrick Lamar continued his lyrical assault Tuesday night during the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Accompanied by his Top Dawg Entertainment label mates Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock and newcomer Isaiah Rashad, Kendrick picked up where he left off from his controversial verse on Big Sean’s “Control (Remix)”.

For recent years, the Cyphers has become the fan favorite of the BET Hip-Hop Awards and the TDE cypher, mainly due to Kendrick’s freestyle, has been the most discussed. Kendrick, Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock also performed during the award show. Schoolboy Q performed his new song “Collard Greens” off of his new album Oxymoron and Kendrick and Jay Rock followed with “Money Trees” from Kendrick’s album good kid, m.A.A.d city.

A$AP Mob, featuring A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, recorded their own cypher as well, while Action Bronson, Lil Kim and Travis Scott are performed freestyles together.
