D.C.-based Whitman-Walker will host All of Us Journey, a traveling educational exhibit that brings the National Institute of Healthโs All of Us Research Program to communities across the U.S., from Aug. 27-30 and Sept. 3-6.
All of Us Journey will allow interested visitors to join the program right on board, where they can answer surveys, give their physical measurements, and blood urine samples. The mobile exhibit includes an opportunity for visitors to sign up to participate in the program.
Features include:
- An augmented reality experience.
- Fun games to learn more about the All of Us Research Program and the value of participation.
- An interactive station where participants can access a video testimonial library to learn why others have decided to participate in the program.
The All of Us Research Program aims to speed up health research and medical breakthroughs. To do so, All of Us is asking one million volunteers to share different types of health and lifestyle information โ information such as where they live, what they do, and their family health history.
The program is open to people both healthy and sick, from all communities. This information could help researchers learn more about different diseases and treatments and improve health for generations to come.
