Bobby Brown Jr., son of the R&B singer, was found dead Wednesday at age 28, according to Los Angeles police.

Police said they were called to a home in Encino. Calif., about 2 p.m. for a medical emergency, NBC News reported. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but authorities don’t suspect foul play.

The death was first reported by TMZ.

Brown Jr. was a child of Bobby Brown’s from a previous relationship before marrying superstar singer Whitney Houston in 1992.

In 2015, Brown and Houston’s 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina died after she was found unresponsive in a filled bathtub at her Georgia home, which left her in a coma for six months before her death. An autopsy report found small amounts of morphine, cocaine, alcohol and prescription drugs in her system.

Her death came three years after her mother accidentally drowned in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub. Houston’s death at age 48 was partially attributed to heart disease and cocaine.
