(StarPulse.com)—Will Idris Elba be the next 007? Leaked emails reveal that Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal was pushing for the actor to take over the iconic role from Daniel Craig.
According to the Daily Beast, Pascal sent an email to Elizabeth Cantillon, former executive VP of production for Columbia Pictures, which distributes the Bond films, on Jan. 4, 2014, that read, “Idris should be the next bond.”
