(New York Daily News) – “Empire” is known for its dramatic twists – but the latest one has taken place off screen.
Stars Trai Byers and Grace Gealey are engaged after several months of dating, according to multiple outlets.
The actors met on the set of their hit TV show, with Gealey playing Anika, the former stepmother of Byers’ character Andre Lyons, one of the three sons gunning for his father’s titular music empire.
A rep for Byers declined to comment, while a rep for Gealey did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
