Music icon Stevie Wonder revealed during his concert Saturday in London that he’ll undergo a kidney transplant this fall.
Wonder, 69, said he shared the news to quell speculations about his health.
“I’m going to be doing three shows then taking a break,” he said told the packed crowd at Hyde Park. “I’m having surgery. I’m going to have a kidney transplant at the end of September this year.”
The music legend, who was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame in 1989, said that a donor has been found.
