Dr. Cerina Wanzer Fairfax, a beloved mother, leader, and dentist, was tragically killed by her husband, former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, before he took his own life, leaving their two children orphaned and highlighting the importance of African American mental health, protecting Black women, and honoring the legacy of victims of partner violence.
