The U.S. will likely reach the milestone of having 50% of all American adults being fully vaccinated by Tuesday.
As of Monday, the U.S. had 49.8% of adults fully vaccinated, or about 130 million people, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data.
President Biden earlier this month set a goal of 70% of all adults getting at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine and 160 million adults to be fully vaccinated by July 4.
